Clara Booker is the Data Steward for the NW CASC. In her role as Data Steward, Clara manages and tracks data throughout the lifecycle of a NW CASC project, working to make publicly-funded research accessible to all through the USGS’s science repository, ScienceBase.gov. Clara also stewards data for the Southwest and Midwest CASCs.
Clara spends every summer in the Pacific Northwest and is an avid berry picker. She earned her BA in Environmental Studies and History at Bowdoin College in Maine, where she took a special interest in the places and spaces where science, environment, people and culture meet. The NW CASC is one such place and Clara is excited to advance the work of the NW CASC.
