Bio

Adam Sibley is a postdoctoral researcher at Oregon State University (OSU), where he also received his doctorate in plant ecophysiology. Prior to his time at OSU, Adam worked as a technician at the Institute of Pacific Islands Forestry in Hilo, Hawai’i, where he studied the physiology of native trees and collected climate data for the purpose of understanding and conserving endemic Hawaiian forests. Adam has also done research as a satellite image analyst at Stanford University and Boston University. He is broadly interested in research that helps us understand how plants function and how they respond to their growing environment. In his free time, Adam enjoys fishing, rafting, gardening and rowing.
