Bio

Darcy Gould is the communications manager for the Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center. Darcy’s professional mission is to improve the communication of science and foster partnerships to tackle complex environmental challenges and protect land, water, wildlife and people in a changing world. In Darcy’s previous role as private forestry outreach specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, she worked in partnership to increase the number of private landowners in Wisconsin practicing forest management, while also building forester capacity to communicate more effectively with landowners.

Darcy received a bachelor’s in conservation biology, as well as French, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s in environmental conservation from the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In her free time, Darcy can be found exploring woods and waters with her husband and two rescue dogs.
