Bio
Tyler Tran moved from Spokane, WA to Bellingham, WA in 2011 to pursue a degree in Environmental Science. He was was originally drawn to Bellingham by the skiing and hiking but has since also developed a love for marine ecology. If Tyler is not on a mountain somewhere he is usually near the water! Tyler is a marine ecologist interested in plant-environment interactions and understanding how those will change with climate climate change for adaptation and restoration purposes. He currently works with the WA Department of Natural Resources and the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve to understand the variability of ocean acidification in seagrass meadows.
